Costas Remes brings hands-on, real-world yachting experience into the core of Yacht Shore Services. Starting from a young age in competitive dinghy sailing, he progressed into a professional seagoing career, becoming a certified captain with MCA certification and operating a wide range of yachts—from sailing vessels to large motor yachts—until 2017.

This frontline experience is fundamental to the company’s approach. Having spent years onboard, Costas understands exactly what captains require: speed, clarity, reliability, and solutions without friction. This perspective drives Yacht Shore Services’ positioning as a single, dependable point of contact across the Mediterranean.

In parallel with his command experience, Costas served as Build Captain and Owner’s Representative on major yacht construction projects, including Heesen Yachts Project 17042, Abeking & Rasmussen Project 6505, and Ferretti Custom Line 106/05. Through these roles, he gained direct exposure to shipyard operations, technical decision-making, and project execution at the highest level—experience that translates into precise, detail-driven support for clients.

Today, Costas applies this combined operational and technical expertise to ensure Yacht Shore Services delivers consistent, high-level support across every location—reinforcing its vision of being the “one number for the Med.”
