Before You Arrive
Notify the Marina 48 Hours in Advance Inform the marina of your vessel name, type and length, and your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) at least 48 hours prior to entry — by email or telephone. Send your required documents at the same time.
Submit Your Documents in Advance For a first-time arrival from a third country (non-EU), have the following ready:
- Certificate of Registry
- Insurance Certificate
- Boat operator’s licence
- Captain’s authorisation (if applicable)
- Crew list
- Identification for all crew members
- Last port of departure documentation
- Pet information (if applicable)
For a first-time arrival from another marina within Cyprus:
- Certificate of Registry
- Insurance Certificate
- Crew list
- Copies of IDs
Note: These documents are required for your first arrival only.
Approach and VHF Procedure
- Contact Ayia Napa Marina on VHF Channel 10 when you are 2 nautical miles from the Marina
- Obey the directions from the Control Room and follow the workboat
- As you approach the Marina entrance, ensure your waste tank is closed and reduce speed to 3 knots
- Maintain a speed of 2 knots within the Marina basin

Arrival Formalities
Ayia Napa Marina is an official Port of Entry. Vessels arriving from third countries (non-EU) must complete inspections with the following authorities upon arrival:
- Customs
- Marine Police
- Immigration
- Veterinary and Health Services
Ensure all crew documents are accurate and accessible before arrival. Your local agent should coordinate these formalities in advance to minimise delays.
Departure Procedures
- Contact the Marina on VHF Channel 10 at least 30 minutes before departure
- Inform the Control Room of your purpose of departure, estimated time of absence, and number of crew on board
- Before departing, complete the following safety checks:
- Life jackets on board
- Fire extinguisher, emergency flares and first aid kit
- Navigation lights and horn
- Fuel level
- VHF radio
- Bilge
- Drinking water
- Disconnect shore power from pedestal
Always have at least two means of communication — VHF and mobile telephone.
Environmental Rules
No Discharge It is unlawful to discharge any solid or liquid wastes — including bilge water, sewage or grey water — into the marina waters. Waste oils, drums, filters and batteries must be placed in specialised containers at designated points within the marina.
Onboard Sanitary Facilities Onboard toilets shall not be used while berthed in the marina. Use the marina’s facilities (comfort stations) only. Sanitary tanks must be emptied through the marina pump-out system when required.
Waste Management All garbage must be collected separately and stored in the specified containers in accordance with the marina’s Waste Management Plan.
Noise No noisy activities or works that disturb the peace of marina users or visitors are permitted.
Any pollution or code of conduct violations must be reported to the Marina Reception or Control Room immediately.

Ayia Napa Marina operates the AdiMarine smart application, available on Google Play (Android) and the App Store (Apple). Through the app you can report incidents or request services directly from the marina Control Room.

Key Rules at a Glance
- Speed limit: 3 knots on approach, 2 knots within the basin
- Minimum operator age: 16 years with a valid vessel licence
- No water skiing or towing within the marina basin
- No anchoring permitted within the marina
- Contractors require prior authorisation from the owner/captain and marina approval before access is granted
- All vessels must be registered and compliant with Cyprus law
